Continuum have just launched 40+ dedicated dealer mobile sites on behalf of Nissan Ireland. Now mobile users visiting any of the Nissan dealer sites using a mobile device will have a user experience built specifically for their device.
Having completed a detailed visitor analysis, it was clear that mobile traffic was an important profile of users. However, mobile users didn't show the same online behaviour patterns. Rather than viewing lots of different content, mobile visitors spent most of their time using the used car search facility and viewing the contact details for the dealer. This led us to recommend a dedicated mobile version of the site rather than rebuilding the dealer sites for responsive design.
